Dear Daughter – Alternate Blocks from Antique Signature Quilts

No matter how much we love an antique quilt there are always blocks that don’t make our heart sing.  The Dear Daughter quilt has a few of those blocks. I call them the “donut blocks”  I may use substitutes for some of them. I went on a search for antique friendship / signature quilts from the same time period as the Dear Daughter quilt and have put together a collection of some of those blocks.

What’s included:

  • 14 full size block patterns for 8″ blocks.
  • There are wreaths, stars, hearts, tulips, etc. All perfect for signatures and inscriptions.
  • Color photo of the antique block I used as my inspiration.

*** You do not need these to make the Dear Daughter quilt. It is an optional purchase.
